■ベストサマーチューン 2017 Selected by KEITA KAWAKAMI
先日リリースされたSatanicpornocultshopのベストCD第三弾「AtoZ3 - Around The World In A Day」より1曲。
2012年にサタポがunderworldのあの名曲をめちゃぐちゃ最高なハナモゲララップでjukeカバーしてたのが衝撃で、今回はその音源のセルフリミックスver.を選ばせて頂きました。イントロのリフからビートが走って抜けるまでずっと最高で、初めて聴いたのがベースのまったく出ないオンボロスピーカー搭載の営業車だったのですが、聴き終わった瞬間「めっちゃええ夏やな…」と独り言を言うては巻き戻し、路駐して目を瞑ってもう1度聴き直して(サボって)いました。
サタポの曲は結構実験的なものが多かったりリリース量多すぎて見逃したりしがちだけど、たまにアルバムに1曲入ってたりするドキャッチーな路線がたまらなく好きで、この曲もそのラインやと思うのですがおもいっきりヤられました。またライブが観たいし一緒に何かやりたいです。(FNMNL/KEITA KAWAKAMI(KOOLSWITCHWORKS))
